What this site does

MIRPG (formerly MIRPG Optimizer) is a damage calculator for MapleStory: Idle RPG. The calculator is free and works without an account. Creating an account is optional, and unlocks cloud saves and the paid Premium tier.

Data stored on your device

All calculator data (class, equipment, stats, weapons, companions, artifacts, and ability presets) is saved to your browser's localStorage, along with your theme and language preferences. If you are not signed in, this data stays on your device unless you export it using the Copy button.

You can clear all stored data at any time through your browser's site data settings.

Accounts

Accounts are handled by Supabase. If you register with an email address and password, that email address is stored by Supabase so you can sign back in. If you use Sign in with Google, Google shares your email address and basic profile information with this site instead.

A profile record is created alongside your account, holding your subscription tier and status, and, if you subscribe, a customer identifier from Paddle. Passwords are never visible to this site.

Cloud saves

Signing in enables cloud saves, which copy the calculator data described above to a database hosted by Supabase so you can pick it up on another device. It is stored as a single record per profile slot, and access is restricted so that only your own account can read or write it.

You can remove a cloud profile at any time using Clear Profile in the Cloud Sync panel, which deletes that record from the database.

Payments

Premium subscriptions are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Payment details are entered on Paddle's own checkout and are never sent to or stored by this site. See Paddle's privacy policy for how they handle them.

Paddle notifies this site when a subscription starts, renews, falls behind on payment or is cancelled. Those notifications are recorded so that your tier stays correct.

Data sent to the server

When you use the calculator, your in-game stats are sent to server-side functions to perform damage calculations. These requests are processed and discarded immediately; nothing is logged or stored.

Advertising and cookies

This site displays ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. For more information, see how Google uses advertising cookies. Ads are not shown to Premium subscribers.

Product analytics

This site uses PostHog to see which features are used and where users run into friction, so the app can be improved over time. Events include page views, feature interactions, and signup or subscription milestones.

No personally identifiable information is collected. If you are signed in, events are tied to your account ID; otherwise an anonymous device ID is used. Requests are routed through this site's own domain, and your browser's Do Not Track setting is respected. Analytics data is processed by PostHog in the United States.

Third-party services

This site is hosted on Netlify. Accounts and cloud saves use Supabase, payments use Paddle, ads are served by Google AdSense and analytics by PostHog, each described above. No social media tracking pixels are used.

Deleting your data

Clearing your browser's site data removes everything held on your device. Cloud profiles can be deleted individually using Clear Profile in the Cloud Sync panel. To delete your account and everything associated with it, contact me using the link below and I will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
